Here is the spine of the book and I think I will end up improving it as I am not quite happy with it.
Here is the cover. I took a quote from Les Mis. it seemed appropriate as this is a gift for my aunt and she loves the musical.
Now keeping in mind this is a flip book of eight pages, this is page one opening.
On this section the tags flip up to all for adding photos.
Due to the embellishment on page one page two is simple.
This is page three opening:
The tag flips up again and this allows for a photo under the tag on the page and even one on the back of the tag.
These are the tags from the pocket on the left side.
On to page four:
There is a lower flip that opens with the chipboard tag glued in place.
Fully opened, the tag again is scored to allow it to be lifted open.
Page five:
So this page has a small pocket behind the lace to hold tags. Also on the bottom flap lower right corner I added a pocket that holds three tags.
Opening the page there is another flip that allow for more photos.
Fully opened the flip has a pocket holding more tags for journaling and this gorgeous door image.
Page six:
A bit of vellum with border punching to add some softness. The front flip is a low pocket to hols tags.
The back of the flip holds more tags and I fussy cut a beautiful bird image to create a pocket to hold a matching tag. The tag comes out to allow for a photo addition on both sides of the vellum flip.I think this is one of my favorite pages because the pink damask paper and bird sticker (backed with cardstock) are so striking together.
This is the flip fully open allowing for more photos.
This is a tag large enough to hold a photo from a pocket in page six.
Page 7 - simple with a large cut apart image at a flip.
Page 8:
Page seven was very simple because page eight is almost a mini in itself.
The left front flip is open at the top to allow for a tag or photo to be tucked in. This page requires a seam binding ribbon tie to keep it closed. The right side clock/door handle image is also adhered to add in more tags. The birdie ticket die cut holds a simple sewn note book with six pages and a brad serving as a pull tab.
The right flip also open to serve as a pocket. Then a bit of Melissa Frances packaging from pearls as a pocket to hold tags. The clock tag is scored to fold down allowing for more photos and journaling on the back of the die cut.
The tags from the packaging pocket. I adhered lined paper to the backs to allow for journaling. These are from The Avenues Misc. Me cards.
The bird cage is adhered to be yet another pocket holding more yummy tags. The upper flip clock tag again lifts a bit to add little keepsakes.Still opening - I loved the images from The Avenues so much some times they just didn't need any embellishment.
Still opening page 8, added a banner die cut popped up to allow for a slip of Misc. Me note paper.
Fully opened and ready to add some more photos.
