Hello there - Welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle Anything but a Card Blog Hop. If you arrived from April Williams you are on the right path. If not you may want to hop back to the beginning by clicking the logo below.
There are prizes to be had - all you need to do is leave comments for the designers by April 5th and you will be eligble to win!
I am really excited to be participating in my first blog hop for Sparkle N Sprinkle with my first official post as a member of the design team. The ladies on this team are so wonderful and talented!
My project for the hop is a layout and since it is my first DT design I have used several of SNS products to make this project sparkle like the stars! The design is inspirered by a sketch by Tammy Henderson.
My roses foliage are die cut from Rose Creations on Super Adhesive Sheets and then covered with Orchid Rose Velvet Glitter. I used a soft gel medium to seal the glitter and stiffen the flowers for shaping.
The large butterfly was embossed with Stickum Powder and Green Iris glitter. I love the effect of the slight bit of color in the midst of all the glitz!
I embossed and glittered my chipboard with Golden Silver glitter, By the Lake EP and Spring Willow EP. The doily is treated with random glitter Lemonade and Golden Silver.
My leaves are treated with Spring Willow EP and Misty Isles glitter
My background page I masked with iridescent medium tinted with acrylic inks.
I used several stamps as embellishments on this page.
Stamp Set 490 Spring Florals - Fussy cut, water colors and glitter
Stamp Set 493 Silhouettes - background stamping with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink
New Bird Song stamps coming soon to the store - feather fussy cut and painted
Just a reminder to leave a comment to be eligible for the fabulous prizes that are to be awarded. There are prizes "hidden" in some of the blogs, so the comment you leave just may be one of the winners.
Next on the hop is Barbara Bruder, a verey talented lady who I am sure will have something to inspire you.
Just in case here is a list of the designers for the hop:
Shona Erlenborn - Jackie Smith - Karalee Ingram - Dawn Bennett - Shanna Shands - Anne Temple - Brigita Skopas - Karin Martin - Cammy Vietzke - April Williams - Cindy Keogh (That's Me) - Barbara Bruder - Julie Zippel - Marie Berquist - Brenda Smalle
