Unstoppable

Good Morning - in the midst of grocery shopping and taking down the tree I found time to scrap! I love the true grit in Myles' face on the second photo.

This is for the Flying Unicorn January Challenge - You have Personality

I have a kind of peek a boo - need to find some videos on these. I used aged embossing powder in copper on my flowers and the iron works die cut with silver. I cut in brown and black acrylic paint into molding paste to mask the bricks and tiles. The background is an olive wood grain from Studio Calico that I used distress picket fence to wash the color down to be more like the wood in the photo. I brought in filigree pieces to match the butterfly benches in the picture with spellbinders lacy flowers, vintage lace border, majestic circles and one of the decorative labels.

The mica, paper roses, crown and leather cord are from the December Flying Unicorn kit. The stripped paper is from the October paper add on.

  2. This really captured the essence of young Myles! It's youthful yet masculine, with just a hint of his possible mischievousness.

  3. For some reason this reminds of what it used to be like to be a young kid, back when I thought anything was possible. I think you did an awesome job of telling your story of the unstoppable prince charming.
